Alternate Money System for Temoris
This system makes purchasing things in Temoris more abstract. Only use it when the acquisition of wealth is not a big deal in the game (this is usually not appropriate for Monster Hunter campaigns, where the whole goal is to amass wealth).

These numbers are rounded off for ease of reference.

-1 up to 3000 Florins per year (250 monthly / 60 weekly)

Wealth: Average
0 up to 4000 Florins per year (300 monthly / 75 weekly) (this is on the high end of average for a skilled tradesman).

8 up to 150,000 Florins per year (11,250 monthly / 3000 weekly)
9 up to 200,000 Florins per year (15,000 monthly / 4000 weekly)
10 up to 300,000 Florins per year (23,000 monthly / 5750 weekly)

Wealth: Filthy Rich
11 up to 500,000 Florins per year (37,500 monthly / 10,000 weekly)
12 up to 1,000,000 Florins per year (75,000 monthly / 20,000 weekly)
13 up to 1,500,000 Florins per year (112,500 monthly / 30,000 weekly)
14 up to 2,000,000 Florins per year (150,000 monthly / 40,000 weekly)
15 up to 5,000,000 Florins per year (375,000 monthly / 100,000 weekly)

Everyone begins with an 11- in Wealth. When you want to try to afford something, you will make a single 3d6 roll, modified by the weekly price of the object you wish to buy.

Example:
Randall wants to buy a sword that costs 200 Florins. He has Average Wealth (he’s paid no points). Looking at the chart, 200 is two steps up from average, so he would make an 11 – 2 = 9 or less roll to be able to afford the sword right now.

He could, if he liked, take some Extra Time (shop around for a better deal, or save up his money for a week), or seek out a Contact, or even use Teamwork (borrowing some money from Brandwyn, for instance) to try again.
